Dr. Anthony Fauci, former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and active participant in labeling the lab leak theory for the origins of COVID a “conspiracy”, recently gave the 2024 Whittington Lecture at Georgetown University. During the Q&A portion, the Prevaricating Authoritarian Smurf warned Americans that the spread of “untruths” would destroy democracy as we know it — and he insists he’s not exaggerating.
“We are living in an arena or an era of what I call the normalization of untruths and the misinformation and disinformation that spreads around is stunning to the point where if you normalize it and accept it, then truth has no value,” said Fauci. “And when truth has no value, science falls apart, because science is a process for getting evidence, data, and truth. And if you take that away, then skepticism abounds.”
“Who are you going to believe?” asks Fauci. “You’re going to believe a health official? No, because they said that this was going to happen and that happened.”
“So, I’d hate to be giving lessons to audiences,” said COVIDictator Fauci who was cool with coerced COVID shots, wanted to isolate the unjabbed, and pushed to mask toddlers. “But spare me here — is that if there’s anything that you can really do to help your country and society is push back on this normalization of untruth. Don’t accept it as, ‘Well, that’s the way things are’ because once we accept that that’s the way things are, the democracy is going to fall apart.”
“It really will, and I’m not being hyperbolic about it, that’s what’s going to happen, so it goes well beyond skepticism of public health — it’s in all the society,” stated Fauci.
