Remember the good old days when both parties believed that the Soviets were the bad guys (or at least had the good sense to say so in public)?
As the old song tells us, the times they are a-changing.
For a decade now, establishment Dems have been running damage control, trying to leverage the energy of the activist left in their various astroturfed street protests while actively blocking them from holding any real power in the party. (Hillary’s super-delegates, Biden’s backroom deal, and whatever the heck it was that they did instead of a 2024 primary). The establishment does not trust the judgement of their base.
Now we know why. It’s been coopted by the Bernie/AOC/Mamdani faction of the party, which has openly championed plans to rip up what the Framers built, and replace it with an untested new system which (conveniently) lacks any of the checks-and-balances that would keep them from exercising genuine Soviet-style despotic power.
None of them has been dumb enough to say what Trudeau once said about ‘admiring [China’s] basic dictatorship’, but if you look at their policy prescriptions, they’re all thinking it.
Speaker Mike was on with Kayleigh McEnany, telling her about a new website ‘Contrast for America‘ whose core project is to expose and discredit the ideology on which the latest American flavor of Marxism is based.

Picking up on the 1990s idea of the ‘Contract for America’ concept, giving voters a clear sense of what was being offered if they voted for the GOP, this ‘contrast for America’ is addressing a generation of American Voters that never lived under the shadow of the Cold War.
Where most of us see the grand promises of Communism the way we view a worm on a hook, many of the younger generation have only ever heard how great a socialist wonderland would be.
This website is for three kinds of people. First, for those who would like to know platform the insurgent left would like to shove down our throats.
Second, those who are interested in a brief summary of just how dark those Utopian promises really were for the countries conned into accepting them.
And third, those who already see it as dark and corrupt, but would like specific examples they can use to make their case.
Let’s not forget how Bernie had to delete the post he once wrote on his Senate website about how praised Venezuela (and a few other commie nations) as far better example of the American Dream than the US of A ever was.
That was in 2012, and it aged like milk.
But THIS time, we can all trust his judgment… right?
