Texas’ Republican Sen. Ted Cruz recently speculated along the same lines I have and said that at the last second the Democrat Party will push Joe Biden out and install Michelle Obama as their Democrat nominee for president.
On Sept. 18, Cruz said that the Dems will “parachute” former First Lady Michelle Obama in to replace Biden, who will be “jettisoned” well before the election.
Cruz floated the possibility that the Democrat Party will dump Biden ahead of the 2024 election on his podcast, “Verdict with Ted Cruz,” noting that the odds of such a scenario have “risen significantly” given that Democrats are now “nervous” over Biden’s continued infirmities, lies, and missteps.
“They’re looking at polling numbers that show two-thirds of Americans think he’s too old to be president. They’re getting nervous about all of the evidence of Biden corruption — you’ve got Hunter being indicted, you’ve got all the connections to Joe, and then what we’ve seen in recent weeks is the media is turning on them,” Cruz said.
“And remember the role of the media. Sadly, they’re no longer journalists; they no longer report news,” he continued. “They are the left-wing of the Democrat Party, and when the media turns on the presumed Democrat nominee, I think that is the cutting edge of the Democrat intelligencia saying we may have to cut bait and find someone new.”
Cruz said that as Biden’s “mental diminishment” continues, it is “obvious to anyone that he can’t find his shoe,” and that the Democrats will have to look for someone to “parachute” in to save the party.
“The Democrat kingmakers [will then] jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama,” Cruz said, adding, “you don’t infuriate African American women, which is a critical part of the constituency that Democrats are relying on to win.”
“This is the Obamas saving the day,” he said of Michelle being chosen over Biden’s head.
Cruz also pointed to the fact that the media has been turning on Biden of late, and that, he says, is evidence that they are preparing to throw him under the bus. But he noted that if Biden magnanimously announces he is stepping aside for 2024, the media would suddenly treat him as the new FDR.
He also said that Michelle is the only Democrat that would have unanimous consent on the left and “has a claim to already being at a higher level in the Democrat pecking order than any of the other contenders.”
Cruz concluded saying Michelle jumping in is “the only solution for Democrat power brokers that doesn’t cause a civil war,” among Democrats.

If Michelle ran, the media would immediately crown her as the winner of whatever election she was running for. It does not matter who she was running against or what office she was vying for.
