According to a report released by the Daily Caller, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has flagged a frightening 74,904 illegals crossing the border that are on one terror, police, or crimes list or another in just the last year alone.
You read that right. Joe Biden’s wide-open border policies have induced nearly 75,000 criminals and terrorists to waltz right across the border and into our country to endanger us all.
Called “special interest aliens,” the numbers of these illegals with “possible terror connections” has skyrocketed since 2021. According to CBP data, border patrol logged 3,675 encounters with illegals in this category. But in 2022, that number soared to 25,627.
“Generally, an SIA is a non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests. Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism. DHS analysis includes an examination of travel patterns, points of origin, and/or travel segments that are tied to current assessments of national and international threat environments,” the DHS definition of SIA’s states.
Daily Caller added:
“This does not mean that all SIAs are “terrorists,” but rather that the travel and behavior of such individuals indicates a possible nexus to nefarious activity (including terrorism) and, at a minimum, provides indicators that necessitate heightened screening and further investigation,” DHS adds.
Illegal migrants can be deemed special interest aliens based solely on their country of origin, such as Turkey or Uzbekistan, according to an internal Border Patrol document previously obtained by the DCNF.
The FBI is currently searching for a group of more than one dozen Uzbek migrants that federal authorities released into the country after they used an ISIS-tied smuggler to cross the southern border illegally.
The point here is that Joe Biden’s government is simply releasing these possibly dangerous people right into the U.S. without doing any further investigation into their motives for coming into our country.
The criteria is there for a reason. While not every SIA is a terrorist, the thing is, they could be based on their travel, their country of origin, and other factors.
But Joe Biden’s DHS has simply stopped investigating most of these people and is just waiving them right in, free as you please.
Biden has made every corner of this country less safe.
