It really isn’t all that complicated. When we fall out of step with God’s moral order… it comes back to bite us.
While American politicians that pass themselves off as ‘ministers’ (looking at YOU, Warnock, Talarico, and Sharpton) try to guilt us into adopting beliefs and ideals that are deeply rooted in secular unbelief, we’ve got a wildly unconventional politician in Argentina that just pulled his country back from the brink of economic collapse after more than a century of economic failure drawn from those very same failed secular beliefs and ideals.
He gave an amazing explanation for what finally worked.
He didn’t point to Ludwig von Mises. Or Thomas Sewell. Or Milton Friedman. He didn’t invoke Henry Hazlitt or his Economics In One Lesson.
He could have, since his successful policies tracked neatly with much of what such economists would have to say.
His answer looked deeper than that. It anchored itself in something far more foundational.
You might even call it more ‘existential’.
He anchored the Free Market System firmly in the Moral Law of God Himself.
Man did not invent capitalism. He discovered it by obeying the Ten Commandments. When we align ourselves with this law, we can bring Paradise to Earth.

It wasn’t ‘invented’ so much as ‘discovered’. And when we do things God’s way, an entire world of possibilities opens up for us.
That sets up an interesting opportunity to link back to a story that fell through the cracks a month or two ago. With the hard left pushing all their chips in on candidates that are increasingly radical in their views, (like Mamdani, Talarico, Platner) even if they try to pass themselves as ‘moderates’ when they run, (like Joe Biden or Abigail Spanberger) they tack hard to the left the second they can do so without endangering their own political future. Don’t take my word for it. Look at everything they both did on Day One.
Obama, who himself launched his career in the living room of a proud member of the Weather Underground terror network, gladly supports them all. Showing the through-line of radical support even among the supposed ‘Establishment’ class.
Polls of support for increasingly radical candidates (you might even include folks like the new-look friend-of-Dems Massie in that category) show that they are picking up more and more of the youngest voters.
That might look like depressing and discouraging news. And on the surface, it is. But if you look more closely, there’s more to it.
There’s a world of difference between the socialism that young people SAY they support…
…and the actual practices they support when those political buzzwords are given explicit meaning.
Moral of the story?
There’s a generation of people who still default to traditional ideas and values, if only someone will take the time to explain what they are.
Which brings us right back to the first video, doesn’t it?
