Can we give the entire Democrat party whatever it was they gave Fetterman when he spent that time in Walter Reed? It did him a world of good!
Roll back the clock a few days and you’ll see that SCOTUS made a fairly uncontroversial ruling that says the folks from Haiti who were given Temporary Protected Status — note the word ‘temporary’ right in the name — years ago, would have to go home once that status was no longer in effect. Right there in the wording of the legislation was a provision that forbade the courts from having any role in adjudicated whether the people covered could stay beyond the prescribed time once that provision was no longer in force.
SCOTUS ruled they no longer have special protections once it is lifted, and would be subject to the same laws as anyone else who had overstayed lawful time in America. Mamdani vowed to fight the Supreme Court ruling, protecting the groups named in this case (specifically Haitians) in New York’s ‘sanctuary’ city.

He’s a foreign-born radical who has no attachment to American rule of law or even way of life. He is working very hard to transform America into something very different than anything it has been before. In this instance, he is openly flouting the law because he believes his private values are more important than anything the law has to say.

There’s just one problem with that. SCOTUS just rendered judgement about the law of the land in this case. Period. Full stop.
Democrat Senator John Fetterman says he has not seen Donald Trump cause a Constitution crisis, but Fetterman says that when he heard Zohran Mamdani say he would defy the Supreme Court on the temporary protected status of Haitians, “That’s a Constitutional crisis”

I gotta admit, I did not see John Fetterman becoming the voice of reason for a party that was running headlong into madness. He’s the one equating Mamdani to something like the segregationists at Sumpter, while making a rational defence for why he did NOT think Trump was the lawless tyrant his own party loves to portray him as.
The common thread of both answers is how each elected leader has responded to being told ‘no’ by the Supreme Court.
If this is the Democrat’s attitude toward SCOTUS rulings, is it any wonder they’re working so hard to discredit it, so they can pack the court with judges who share the political beliefs they (and probably Mamdani) hold to, rather than the faithful reading of black ink written on white paper in laws and precedents going back centuries?
After years of calling the GOP ‘insurrectionsts’, Mamdani is literally on the precipice of becoming everything they have accused our side of being. Don’t take our word for it — even Fetterman can see it.
