The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). The leftist organization that is taking control of the Democratic Party. An organization that is controlled by Communists and Marxists. And it is the largest socialist organization in the United States.
The DSA was created by means of a merger in 1982 between the New American Movement and the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee. Its goal was to infiltrate the Democratic Party.
Shortly after its founding, the DSA became affiliated with the Socialist International (SI), a worldwide organization of social democratic, socialist, and labor parties. But in 2017, the DSA severed its ties with the SI since it viewed the latter’s member parties as supporting capitalist policies in some countries.
The DSA heeded Saul Alinksy’s call for confrontation, and set up a list of goals, including the following:
- Reparations for slavery
- Pay equity (i.e. equal pay for work of equal value)
- Abortion on demand
- Abolish the Senate
- Eliminate the filibuster
- Eliminate the Electoral College
- Increase the size of the Supreme Court (and other federal courts)
- Statehood for the District of Columbia
- Allow non-citizens and convicted felons to vote
- Defund the police
- Abolish prisons
- Community investments
- Social ownership of all major industry and infrastructure
- Repealing right to work laws
- Replace fossil fuels with Green Energy
- Healthcare for all
- Housing for all
- Reduce military spending
- Abolish ICE
Such goals are reflective of the DSA’s political platform.
IN 2023, the DSA joined the Progressive International, an international organization of left-wing political parties and other groups.
The DSA is supportive of Hamas, as well as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Cuban Government.
In June 2026, David Jenkins, who is a member of the DSA’s National Political Committee, said the following:
“Our goal is liberation. Our goal is Communism. We’re a diverse body of libertarian socialists, libertarian Marxists, anarchists, lefts, Communists, and other schools of thought within the sort of leftwing socialist movement.”
It should be noted that the DSA’s National Political Committee is comprised of members from the following leftist groups: the Marxist Unity Group, Red Star, Bread and Roses, Springs of Revolution, Groundwork, the Reform & Revolution Caucus, and the Socialist Majority Caucus.
It should also be noted that members of the DSA have been elected to office, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Zohran Mamdani.
Thus, the DSA has made it clear that is a communist organization. And its members should be investigated and tried for treason.
