As a news guy, Tucker knows all about the role that FISA has played in interfering with elections, hamstringing Trump and abusing civil rights. More than that, it has happened to him. Personally.
Needless to say, he’s paying VERY close attention to the fight over what Congress is trying to do with the renewal of FISA… and while we can be glad that the renewal has not yet passed, he does NOT like what he is seeing.

The DOJ is actively lobbying lawmakers. You know, the same DOJ that has been very aggressive in arresting political dissenters, and has seized the cell phone of at least one sitting congressman.
This same DOJ has been blowing off Congressional oversight and refusing to provide information demanded of them.
But we can trust them. Honest.
They’ll pinky-swear it.
