Dems love to pretend they are the ‘protectors’ of vulnerable people. But where are they when kids REALLY need help?
Dem Concern for kids was always performative
It’s a big claim, but one easily proven.
For all their bluster about the ‘Epstein class’ and allegations of cover up, they somehow get a free pass on how Durban BLOCKED Senator Blackburn’s push to subpoena the Epstein Flight logs? (Maybe because it was embarrassing to see Bill Clinton’s name publicly connected to the Lolita Express again?)
What about all of those times that Republicans like Ted Cruz would grill Mayorkas over hundreds of thousands of missing kids, many of whom had been sexually assaulted as a defacto ‘price of admission’ along their trip illegally crossing the border? Ted Cruz described piles of discarded Mexican cartel identity bracelets which were likened to the leg-irons of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. They were expected to pay the cartels — one way or another. Even the NYTimes wrote a story about little kids as young as 10 showing up working the graveyard shift at some factory rather than going to school like any normal kid. As bad as it was, those were the lucky ones.
For the kids sold to sex traffickers, that would seem like a reprieve from the hell to which they were sentenced.
Not only did Democrats not take this crisis seriously, they enabled the trafficking, obstructed reporting on it, and ultimately dropped the Mayorkas impeachment trial rather than allow the damning facts of the kids his policies had PERSONALLY endangered, and the guardrails (like DNA tests testing claims of family connection to the adults they crossed the border with) being systematically done away with on his watch. Biden was bringing in too many too fast to worry about such ‘trivialities’ as whether the adult was a relative or a predator, it seems.
As soon as Biden was out of office, THIS infamous staged photo op no longer mattered:

As if it ever REALLY mattered in the first place. The emotional manipulation op did its job. Like all the others. She leveraged it and moved on to the next objective.
Republican policy had a DIFFERENT response to missing kids
On Day One of Trump’s second term, finding those kids, and arresting their captors became a priority. Many crime rings have been dismantled, despite endless efforts to keep ICE from doing their job. Kids that team Biden either didn’t know or didn’t care they had lost are being recovered, with help from law enforcement in the states. (As Bongino likes to say: it’s amazing what you can get done when you don’t care who gets credit for it.)
The latest success story is in Florida:
Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the recovery of 163 children, ranging in ages from 2 months to 17 years old, during Operation Statewide Shield, the first statewide child recovery initiative and the largest operation of its kind in Florida history.
“Many of these kids have been victimized by those who prey on the most vulnerable,” said Attorney General James Uthmeier. “Thanks to the outstanding work of FDLE, the Office of Statewide Prosecution, and our state and local partners, these children are now safe and receiving the care they deserve. Florida will continue leading the recovery of missing children, hunting down every predator, and prosecuting abusers to the fullest extent of the law.”
“Operation Statewide Shield demonstrates the power of collaboration and the unwavering commitment shared by all participating agencies and organizations to achieve a singular mission: find our kids and bring them home,” said FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass. “This operation brought together state, local, and federal partners, to safely return home 163 missing children.”
“The results of this combined law-enforcement operation should make one thing very clear: Florida will never tolerate you harming our children,” said Representative Danny Alvarez. “To every sick person in this society who even tries it, if you think you got away with it you should keep looking over your shoulder every second of your life because we’re coming, and we will never rest in order to protect our children and their futures.”
“The success of Operation Statewide Shield reaffirms what partnership can accomplish when government, faith organizations, not for profits, and the private sector come together, share their strengths and use their collective expertise to protect children across this state,” said Florida Department of Children and Families Assistant Secretary Jonathan Stephens. “Under the leadership of Governor DeSantis, the Department will continue to foster opportunities to collaborate with local and state partners to maximize our impact.”
Operation Statewide Shield was a five-day, statewide operation focused on identifying, locating, and recovering missing children. Developed to provide immediate access to child-focused services, the investigation utilized real-time intelligence and field operations for location and recovery. Sub-operations took place in and across Pensacola, Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Miami. — MyFloridaLegal
Meanwhile the Democrats are pushing hard to defend a candidate for Senate who runs with a crowd defending Muslim Brotherhood apologists and pushing even their own 14yo nieces into marriages with some dirty old man.
Oh? Where’s all that Democrat ‘Epstein class’ bluster when we’ve got people on their side bragging about the sexualization of 9th graders? Don’t bother to answer. We already know the ‘why’.
